# Adele Shares Her Gratitude & Happiness On 34th Birthday

**Adele** is marking another trip around the sun and she's full of gratitude and happiness!

The Grammy-winning singer who turned 34 on May 5th, took to Instagram to celebrate all she's been through and all she has to look forward to:

"What a difference a year makes!" Adele captions two make-up free pics of herself in a rather glamorous black dress with epic sleeves:

"If time keeps healing and smoothing out all the creases in my life like it does as the years fly by, then I can't wait to be 60!'

Let's pause for a moment here because isn't it just so wonderful to have someone *say that!* We so rarely hear people talk about the fulfilment that comes with ageing and change. The *beauty* of growth and progress and all the many things life can be. *sigh*

Ok, back to Adele.

"I've never been happier!" she continues. "So many lessons, so many blessings to be grateful for. This is 34 and I love it here! Thank you for the birthday love as always x."

Adele has indeed had quite the year - last November she released her first album in forever (ok, 6 years, but it felt like forever) titled *30,* inspired by her son Angelo and divorce form ex-husband Simon Konecki. The album and song *Easy On Me* scored her three BRIT Awards including Artist of the Year.
