# Andy Grammer Sings For Teenage Fan in Hospice (and we can't stop crying!)

He does random subway performances, *just to make people smile.* He sings for children in hospital. He invites fans struggling with illness backstage and does solo performances for them. He's been donating a portion of the proceeds of his song *"Don't Give Up On Me"* to [**Claire's Place Foundation**](https://clairesplacefoundation.org/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) to support people living with cystic fibrosis. He leaves kind notes for strangers. And just when we thought **Andy Grammer** couldn't possibly carry out any more acts of kindness, *he does.* 

The singer recently received a text from a woman whose teenage daughter is in hospice care. **Andy** discovered that 19-year-old Gracie is battling Leukemia and 5 brain tumours. Hoping to put a smile on her face, **Andy** decided to FaceTime Gracie.

In an IGTV post, **Andy** and **Gracie** chat about ice-cream and *Stranger Things* before he and his band perform a song.

*"This one goes out to Gracie!"* he says.
