**Beyoncé** is celebrating musician and composer **Solange,** who also happens to be her younger sis!

At 36, Solange has become the second Black woman in the history of the New York City Ballet (we're talking 74 *years!)* to write an original composition for them.

Her work debuted at the end of last month during the Fall Fashion Gala at the Lincoln Center. In a message on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/CjMI%5FhZvWeo/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io), Beyoncé took a moment to highlight Solange's success:

"My beloved sister, there are no words to express the pride and admiration I have for you," she begins.

"You are a visionary and one of one....The piece you composed is phenomenal. I love you deep."

Beyoncé ends her tribute with a sassy message: "Might I suggest you don't f\*\*\* with my sis."

Musician **Lido Pimienta** who has Afro/Indigenous/Colombian/Canadian roots was the first Black woman to compose music for the famous ballet company in 2021.
