If you've ever felt like social media and the tabloids are constantly comparing women and finding ways to have us compete with one another, you're not alone. We're bombarded with negative messages every day - but **Blake Lively** is reminding us to look past it all and see the power of women supporting women.

The Hollywood star recently took to [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/C0W8aFAAsA9/?img%5Findex=1&ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) to praise global icons **Beyoncé** and **Taylor Swift** for uplifting one another. Are both of these women dominating the music industry? Why, yes! And are both of these women being relentlessly compared and criticised by certain media outlets? Also yes. But that hasn't stopped them from showing up for one another at each other's concert film premieres, or praising each other's talent.

Sharing photos from Beyoncé's 'Renaissance' film premiere in London, Blake wrote:

"When I grew up, women were always pit against one another. It took me until adulthood to see that the instinct for women to lift each other up to their highest potential is the norm not the exception."

She continued, "Most of my best friends are women who would’ve been packaged to me as threats or competition. It’s our job to show younger generations the power in aligning rather than dividing."

*Hell yes, Blake!*

And she didn't stop there. Blake hilariously added, "All this to say, [@beyonce](https://www.instagram.com/beyonce/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) and [@taylorswift](https://www.instagram.com/taylorswift/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) neither of you have to be threatened by my pop stardom. There’s space for us all."

Blake's carousel features photos of her smiling and talking to Beyoncé, and laughing while posing for photos with Taylor.

Back in October, Beyoncé attended Taylor's 'Eras Tour' premiere screening in Los Angeles.

"I'm so glad I'll never know what my life would've been like without @beyonce's influence," Taylor posted on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/CySi6aqO07D/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) at the time.

"The way she's taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She's been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale."

Moral of the story, ladies? Don't listen to the tabloids. Or social media. Women are cheering each other on and lifting each other up *all the time.*
