"I am not 38 years old. I am not 38 years young," she begins.

"I am 38 years strong! 38 years awesome! 38 years wise. 38 years accomplished. 38 years happy! 38 years amazing!!!" she continues.

"I am 38 years blessed...thank you, Lord, for all the trips around the sun."

Carrie also shared a new song this week as a birthday gift to her fans: "Nothing but the Blood of Jesus" off her upcoming gospel album, "My Saviour."

This one is a collab with Bear Rinehart from Christian rock band Needtobreathe.

"I feel like this one was the one we were searching for," she says in a behind-the-scenes clip about the song which comes from a hymn.

"We were talking about how we could hear a certain voice in the mix, just make it sound a little more current, and I definitely feel like we did that."

The album is due March 26.
