Working mamas everywhere are collectively feeling the devastation of this one! Yes, season 7 of hit Netflix series *Workin' Moms* will be the last!

Creator, executive producer and star of the show **Catherine Reitman** confirmed the news in a [video](https://www.instagram.com/p/CfCURiLlDfg/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) shared on her socials:

"Hey guys, we are here and it's day 1 of season 7 and this season is a special one. It's not only hilarious and I think deeply moving, it is a love letter to my father, it is a love letter to the fans. It is all the hits, the greatest hits album of what Workin' Moms is all about," she begins.

"But the headline here is that we've decided it's going to be our last season and that's not something that's easy to say because we f\*\*\*ing love making this show. But it is time. We've had a helluva run. And we've had a helluva run because of you so thank you for making this job the best and I hope you love this season as much as I do."

The series which follows the daily life of working mama Kate Foster (played by Rietman), her best friend Dr Anne Carlson (played by Dani Kind) and a rather quirky group of women they meet at mother's group, shares a refreshing, raw and hilarious take on motherhood.

According to a press release, season 7 will be released on CBC and CBC Gem in Winter 2023\. The global release on Netflix will follow so we'll have to wait a little while to find out what happens after that season 6 cliffhanger!
