Some magical baby news from actors **Daniel Radcliffe** and **Erin Darke**...

Reps for the *Harry Potter* and *Weird Al Yankovic* star have [confirmed](https://people.com/parents/daniel-radcliffe-erin-darke-pregnant-first-baby/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) they are expecting their first child together. No further details have been shared for now. And perhaps won't be shared at all - Daniel, who grew up on screen as our favourite wizard from Hogwarts, is understandably very private about his personal life.

Speaking to [*The Hollywood Reporter*](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/daniel-radcliffe-weird-career-harry-potter-yankovic-1235252666/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) in 2022, Daniel explained why he avoids social media too: "As an actor, I just want to live my life and see my friends, and I just want the thing people talk about to be the work."

He was 12 years old when he starred in the first *Harry Potter* film, *Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone.*

Daniel and Erin met on the set of the 2013 film *Kill Your Darlings* where Daniel portrayed poet Allen Ginsberg and Erin played his love interest.

He most recently starred as Weird Al Yankovic in a biopic about the musician/comedian. The film is actually a satire on musical biopics and is loosely based on Weird Al's life. It also stars Lin-Manuel Miranda and Rainn Wilson.
