**Emilia Clarke** has announced she's releasing a comic book!

The *Game of Thrones* star shared her news on social media, explaining it's a project that's been taking up her "entire heart and soul" for the last two years.

It's called *M.O.M: Mother of Madness* and it's about a single mum named Maya who discovers she possesses some incredible powers.

"She's funny, she's fierce and she is just a regular woman trying to figure her shit out. But with the addition of some helpful lady powers...it couldn't be more feminine, it couldn't be more fabulous. I wrote this one from the heart and designed it with nothing but love."

In an interview with[ *EW.com,*](https://ew.com/books/emilia-clarke-comic-book-mom-mother-of-madness-preview/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) **Emilia** says the idea came to her a few years ago while she was in a car with a bunch of friends, thinking about how there are so few female superheroes:

"We're always calling mothers superheroes, and I'm like, what if they were? What if they legitimately were superheroes?"

She also tells the publication Maya can "do a lot of stuff at certain moments in her month."

We. Are. Totally. Here. For. It.

*M.O.M: Mother of Madness* is due out in July but Emilia has given us a sneak peek of the cover:
