**Emma Corrin** is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

The actor, who portrays Princess Diana in *The Crown,* has been cast alongside **Ryan Reynolds** in the third instalment of *Deadpool.*

Ryan, who hasn't yet confirmed whether he's welcomed his fourth child with **Blake Lively**, cheekily shared the news on social media:

"A new addition to the family! The Deadpool family, for clarity. Which is just like a real family except with less swearing... Welcome, Emma Corrin!"

Emma also reacted to the news on their Instagram writing, "I actually tried out for @wrexham\_afc, but they put me in Deadpool instead?? HOLY SH\*\*!!!" (They're, of course, referring to the Welsh football club Ryan co-owns.)

"Beyond honoured to join this bonkers family."

**Shawn Levy**, who worked with Ryan on *Free Guy* and *The Adam Project,* will be directing *Deadpool 3\.* Plus, it was confirmed last year that [**Hugh Jackman** would be onboard](https://celebritykind.ghost.io/content/files/2026/09/hugh-jackmans-joining-ryan-reynolds-for-deadpool-3-5.html) for the project too!
