Environmental activist **Greta Thunberg** is celebrating her 18th birthday!

And she's doing it in true Greta-style, with a social media statement that claps back at allllllll those who've doubted her.

The teenager, who's officially considered an adult as of January 3, has been dealing with criticism that outside forces (such as her parents, opera singer **Malena Ernman** and actor **Svante** **Thunberg**),have been the real drivers of her global "School Strikes for Climate" movement which FYI, is up to week 124!

"Thank you so much for all the well-wishes on my 18th birthday," she wrote.

"Tonight you'll find me down at the local pub exposing all the dark secrets behind the climate - and school strike conspiracy and my evil handlers who can no longer control me. I am free at last!"

Ha!

Well played Greta. Well played.
