# Katie Holmes Gets McHappy for Sick Children and Their Families

Look, she'll always be "Joey Potter" from *Dawson's Creek* to me but ok, I'll call her by her real name this time.

**Katie Holmes** is in town as the 2019 Ambassador for McHappy Day!

The Hollywood star will be at Haberfield McDonald's in Sydney from 7am on Saturday 16th November to help raise much-needed funds for the [Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia.](http://www.rmhc.org.au/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io)

The organisation helps keep families together when a child is undergoing treatment in hospital. They also provide education programs for kids who've missed out on school while they've been in hospital.

Since it first started back in 1991, McHappy Day has raised more than $46 million.
