# Keke Palmer Announces Birth of Baby Leo!

**Keke Palmer** and **Darius Jackson** have an adorable new human in their lives!

The Emmy-winning star has announced the birth of their first child, a boy named "Leo". She posted a bunch of photos on social media including a pic of the new parents looking rather shell-shocked, "48 hours" after giving birth, as well as a series of close ups of baby Leo's sweet face:

"Hey Son!!!!!" she captioned the photos.

"Born during Black History Month, with a name to match! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo."

You might remember, the *Nope* and *Hustlers* actor spectacularly [announced](https://celebritykind.ghost.io/content/files/2026/09/keke-palmer-reveals-shes-pregnant-2.html) she was pregnant in December last year when she surprised all of us during her set on *Saturday Night Live* by unbuttoning her jacket and revealing a baby bump.

"There's some rumours going around, people have been in my comments saying, 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant,' and I wanna set the record straight - I am!" she said during her opening monologue.

“I gotta say though, it’s bad when people on the internet spread rumours about you y’all. But it’s even worse when they’re correct! I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low, ’cause I got a lot of stuff going on, you know?”

She adds, “But honestly, this has been the biggest blessing and I am so excited. Guys, I’m going to be a mum!”
