**Ke Huy** **Quan** has made history at the Screen Actors Guild Awards!

The *Everything Everywhere All At Once* actor has won Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role making him the first Asian male to take home the prestigious award since the ceremony's inception in 1994!

During his acceptance speech, he dedicated the win to all those calling for change in the industry:

"This is a really emotional moment for me. Recently, I was told that if I were to win tonight, I would become the very first Asian actor to win in this category. When I heard this, I quickly realised that this moment no longer belongs to just me, it also belongs to everyone who has asked for change," he said, with tears in his eyes.

"When I stepped away from acting, it was because there were so few opportunities," he continued, highlighting other Asian talent in the room including **Michelle Yeoh** and **Stephanie Hsu.**

"The landscape looks so different now than before. So thank you so much to all of you in this room and everyone who contributed to these changes."

He ends his speech with a powerful message:

"To all those at home who are watching and are struggling to be seen, please keep on going because the spotlight will one day find you."
