**Malala Yousafzai** has made a generous donation to help children in Gaza.

According to non-profit [**Save the Children,** ](https://www.savethechildren.org.au/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io)the human rights activist and Nobel laureate (who recently added[ Vogue cover star](https://www.instagram.com/p/CPmm829jAbN/?utm%5Fsource=ig%5Fweb%5Fcopy%5Flink) to her long list of achievements!) has contributed $100,000 to support their work in repairing damaged schools in the region, providing clean water and food to struggling families, setting up helplines to provide counselling as well as education programs teaching children how to stay safe with explosive remnants of war in their areas.

"Like many others around the world, I am devastated by the brutality and inhumanity against Palestinian children," Malala says in a statement.

"They deserve to live in peace, to feel safe in their homes, to be educated and to pursue their dreams - just like any other child. I hope these gifts will help them return to school and start the process of rebuilding their lives. I want Palestinian children to know that I stand with them and believe in their future."

She also made two donations of $25,000 to [**KinderUSA**](https://www.kinderusa.org/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) and [**DCI Palestine**](https://www.dci-palestine.org/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io), both organisations focused on the health and wellbeing of children living in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza strip.

This isn't the first time Malala has made a donation to support children's education in Gaza - in 2014, after winning the prestigious World's Children's Prize, she gave away her entire $50,000 prize to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency to help rebuild 83 schools damaged during conflict.
