# Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith Welcome Baby Boy

**Mandy Moore** has confirmed the arrival of her sweet baby boy with husband and musician **Taylor Goldsmith.** 

In a post on Instagram, the *This Is Us* actress shared a cropped photo of the new little human in their lives wearing a pale blue onesie:

"Gus is here. Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith," she captions the pic.

"He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined."

Mandy announced she was expecting back in September last year and has been quite open on her socials about her fertility struggles and a challenging first trimester.

In an interview with Dr Elliot Berlin, host of the [*Informed Pregnancy Podcast,* ](https://www.informedpregnancy.com/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io)Mandy also described how grateful she is for her changing body:

"I have such a deeper appreciation for my body and the fact that us pregnant folks have the capability to do this. It's the coolest thing."
