**Mena Massoud** has a big, new project in the works!

The *Aladdin* star will portray British boxer **Naseem Hamed** (a.k.a Prince Naseem) in the upcoming biopic, *Giant.*

"Lot of work ahead to do the legend justice," Mena shared in a post on [Twitter.](https://twitter.com/MenaMassoud/status/1618298713176408065?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io)

According to [*The Hollywood Reporter*](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/prince-naseem-boxing-film-paddy-considine-mena-massoud-1235309354/?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io), **Rowan Athale** who directed 2012's *Wasteland* will both write and direct the film, which will focus on Prince Naseem's "rags-to-riches" story from his childhood as the son of working-class Yemeni immigrants in Yorkshire, to athlete and international superstar.

*House of the Dragon's* **Paddy** **Considine** will also star in the biopic as boxing trainer, Brendan Ingle.

Prince Naseem held multiple featherweight world titles during his decade-long career, pushed through Islamophobia and racism and made headlines around the world with his flashy ring entrances - like that time he re-created Michael Jackson's *Thriller* clip!

The film is being made with **Sylvester Stallone's** Balboa Productions. No word on a release date just yet.
