**Michelle Obama** is releasing a podcast about life, growth and the challenges we all face in our everyday lives - or as she describes it, a show about the "questions we're all trying to answer."

*The Michelle Obama Podcast,* which will be out on Spotify on July 29, will feature candid conversations between the former First Lady and her friends, colleagues and even family members. Among those taking part are her brother **Craig Robinson** as well as late night host **Conan O'Brian** and **Valerie Jarrett**, the former senior advisor to President **Barack Obama.**

"What I love about these conversations is that they're issues we're all dealing with every day - and they can take on new meaning when we're going through a global pandemic or seeking out long-overdue racial injustice in our communities," **Michelle** says in a video posted to Instagram.

"I hope this podcast will help you open up new conversations - and hard conversations - with the people who matter most to you. That's how we can build more understanding and empathy for one another - especially during times like this."
