# Naya Rivera's Friends and Family Share Messages of Love On Her Birthday

**Naya Rivera's** friends and family are remembering the late actress on what would've been her 34th birthday - and their messages are full of nothing but *love,* and a few jokes.

Fellow *Glee* actress **Amber Riley** who played Mercedes Jones in the series was among the first to celebrate **Naya's** "heavenly birthday" sharing a tribute on Instagram:

"A little update Naya, earth is REALLY ghetto now!!! Still, I miss you so very much and I wish you were here," Amber wrote sharing a black and white photo of herself singing on stage with a large photo of Naya as the backdrop.

"There hasn't been a day where you don't cross my mind, and when you do, I take a moment of silence to remember all the beautiful moments we got to spend together," she continues adding that she's celebrating with a glass of wine and a "fancy charcuterie" board.

**Heather Morris** who played Naya's onscreen girlfriend Brittany S Pierce, also shared some words:

"I can't write a sappy monologue because it's just too hard. But I love you and I can't describe how much I miss you."

**Kevin McHale** who played Artie Abrams on the show shared a throwback to one of **Naya's** parties, captioning it: "Happy birthday. No one else could get us to be this messy in public."

And **Naya's** ex partner **Ryan Dorsey** shared a photo of the pair with their son Josie.

"Just as surreal as it is real that you're gone. If that makes sense, but none of this still makes any sense....34\. I could just hear you saying, "Ah, I'm old AF now!" Ha....Rest easy old lady...."

**Naya** tragically lost her life in July last year, after a boating trip to Lake Piru in Ventura County, California. Her body was pulled from the waters after a 5-day search.
