# Owen Wilson Reveals His Mother Laura Has Found Love Again in Her 80s

**Owen Wilson** has shared some beautiful news about his mother, Laura Cunningham Wilson.

While appearing on *The Ellen DeGeneres Show* to chat about his latest rom-com, *Marry Me,* starring **Jennifer Lopez** and **Maluma**, the actor shared that his 82-year-old mum has found love again!

"My mom recently got married at age 80, to a very nice guy," Owen tells Ellen.

"I think that's a very romantic story and the idea that you can sort of find love at any age."

Laura, who is a well-known photographer, was previously married to Owen's dad, Robert A. Wilson, a TV station executive who passed away from Alzheimer's in 2017.

During his chat with Ellen, Owen was asked whether he's a romantic at heart. He explained that he appreciates a good, romantic story - and fares better than his brother and fellow actor **Luke Wilson,** who thought Valentine's Day was in March:

"I'm more romantic in the sense that I knew when Valentine's Day was!" Owen jokes.
