We've been not-so-patiently waiting for *Shang-Chi* stars **Simu Liu** and **Awkwafina** to re-unite onscreen - and it's finally happening!

The epic pair has been cast alongside the legendary **John Cena** in *Grand Death Lotto,* a new action-comedy from director **Paul Feig.**

So what are we in for exactly? As per the film's logline: "In the very near future, the Grand Lottery has been established in economically challenged California. The only catch? Kill the winner before sundown and you can legally claim their prize."

Awkwafina will play Katie, who finds herself with the winning ticket and must join forces with amateur jackpot protector Noel, played by Cena, to make it to sundown in order to claim her multi-billion dollar prize. Simu Liu will play Noel's rival Louis Lewis, who also wants to get Katie to sundown so he can claim his commission.

*Sounds wild!*

"I love action comedy and extreme physical comedy and this movie has both in abundance, as well as a boatload of heart and hilarity," Paul Feig says. "This lotto will make winners of us all."

Production begins next week and it will be released on Prime Video.

Cena is currently in Australia filming *Ricky Stanicky* with **Zac Efron. Awkwafina** will next be seen in *Renfield* opposite **Nicholas Cage** as well as Disney's live-action adaptation of *The Little Mermaid.* And as for Simu, we can't *wait* to see him in all his plastic fantastic glory when he appears alongside **Margot Robbie** and **Ryan Gosling** in the highly anticipated *Barbie* film!
