**Jane Fonda** has lead her ninth week of climate protests in Washington D.C and this time she was joined by fellow Hollywood star **Kyra Sedgwick** and *Orange is the New Black* actress **Taylor Schilling.**

The trio was among thousands of people who took part in the Fire Drill Friday event, blocking the entrance to BlackRock which is accused of being "the largest financier of the climate crisis."

In a social media post, **Fonda** explains that this week's event was full of "religious leaders and migrants" who spoke about "how the climate crisis is fuelling mass migrations."

**Kyra Sedgwick** was thrilled to be a part of the protest calling for urgent government actions. She thanked **Fonda** for inviting her along: "Felt great to be part of the alarm bells that MUST be rung."
