"Hair Love" the audiobook based on the Oscar-winning short film by **Matthew A.Cherry** is out today and it's narrated by **Blue Ivy Carter!**

Yep - *Blue Ivy* **,** the multi-talented 8-year-old daughter of music royalty, **Beyoncé** and **Jay-Z.**

**Cherry** announced the news on social media, sharing a clip of **Blue Ivy** reading the intro:

"Hair Love" is a beautiful tale about an African American dad who tries to do his daughter's hair for the first time. But it's also very much about love, resilience and acceptance.

It was originally released as a short film funded by a Kickstarter campaign before being released as a book and audiobook.

HBO Max is also due to develop an animated TV show based on the story called "Young Love."
