**Dwayne "The Rock"** **Johnson** has been announced as the host of the upcoming **Global Citizen** "Unite for Our Future" concert.

The special which will be streamed on YouTube and other online platforms on June 27 will feature performances by **Shakira, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson** and many more.

It's all about highlighting how the coronavirus pandemic is disproportionately affecting marginalised communities including those living in poverty and people of colour - and ensuring everyone has equal access to COVID-19 health care.

We'll also be treated to special appearances from **Charliz Theron, Salma Hayek, Hugh Jackman, Chris Rock** and **David Beckham.**

It's a follow-up of **Global Citizen's** "One World: Together At Home" concert which was curated by **Lady Gaga** and raised over US $127 million for coronavirus relief efforts.
