The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles today and it was all about the women. Ok maybe a little about Harry Styles and his purple feather boa.

But mostly about the women. The talented, record-breaking, history-making women.

Let's start with **Beyoncé** who brought her overall lifetime Grammy tally to 28 after winning four awards, making her the most decorated female Grammy winner *ever.* She's now equalling the number of Grammys won by legendary producer **Quincy Jones.**

Then there's her mini-me, **Blue Ivy Carter** who scored Best Music Video for "Brown Skin Girl" (won with mummy Bey and Wiz Kid) marking her first Grammy win at just 9-years-old!

There's **Megan Thee Stallion** who took home the award for Best New Artist - the first female rapper to win this category since Lauryn Hill in 1999! She also won Best Rap Song *and* Best Rap Performance for "Savage" with **Beyoncé.**

And **Billie Eilish** who took Record of the Year for "Everything I Wanted" then got up on stage praising Grammy-winning Megan Thee Stallion for her talent, telling her in front of the world, "You deserve this."

There's **Taylor Swift** who also made history after winning her third Album of the Year award - the only woman to do so - this time for "Folklore."

And **Tiffany Haddish** who won the Best Comedy Album, something that hasn't been won by a woman of colour since 1985 when Whoopi Goldberg took home the gong.

There's **Dua Lipa** who won Best Pop Album for "Future Nostalgia."

There's **Miranda Lambert** who accepted the Best Country Album for "Wildcard."

And there's **H.E.R** who won Song of the Year for her Black Lives Matter anthem, "I Can't Breathe".

"We wrote this song over FaceTime and I didn't imagine that my fear and that my pain would turn into impact, and that it would possibly turn into change."

Sure, there were a handful of men who were also recognised for their talent - hello **Harry Styles**, **Bad Bunny, Anderson Paak, Finneas, Jacob Collier** and **Kay Tranada.**

But let's face it. The women *killed it* this year, and they deserve to be celebrated!
