Comedian, actress, TV host and all 'round legendary human **Tiffany Haddish** has released her first children's book!

[*Layla, the Last Black Unicorn*](https://booktopia.kh4ffx.net/ZdjY9k?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io)follows the story of a young, Black unicorn who attends her first year of school at Unicornia, of course, and realises she's not quite like the others - they look different, play different games and don't come from the woods like Layla does.

“It’s no secret that when I was growing up, I had a lot of difficulties learning to read," Tiffany shared in a statement when her book deal with Harper Collins was announced last year.

"Like many kids, more than anything, I wanted to see myself in the books I read. [*Layla, the Last Black Unicorn*](https://booktopia.kh4ffx.net/ZdjY9k?ref=celebritykind.ghost.io) is a story about self-acceptance, and a story that I hope inspires kids to be ready to step up and stand out."
