Stars from the UK, and the world, stood alongside Palestinian artists, medics and journalists at Wembley last night, for the 'Together for Palestine' concert.

Organised by British musician **Brian Eno** with Gazan painter **Malak Mattar** and UK charity **Choose Love,** the event has raised close to £1.5 million (and counting) for organisations providing humanitarian support and medical care for injured children, amputees, orphans and families most in need in Gaza. According to a release, the organisations benefiting from the event include the **Palestine Children's Relief Fund, Palestinian Medical Relief Society** and **Taawon.**

The event highlighted the tireless work of doctors and nurses, honoured the 270 journalists killed in Gaza - as well as those who are still risking their lives in the region - and featured musical performances, speeches and poetry readings by both Palestinian and global artists including **Saint Levant, Elyanna, Annie Lennox** (via video), **Benedict Cumberbatch, Jameela Jamil, Richard Gere, Nicola Coughlan, Florence Pugh, Paloma Faith, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Zainab Jiwa** and more.

A number of stars who couldn’t be there also shared their support via video, including **Cillian Murphy, Billie Eilish, Finneas, Penelope Cruz** and **Javier Bardem.**

*Bridgerton* star **Nicola Coughlan,** who has consistently used her platform to advocate for Palestinian human rights and an urgent ceasefire, also took to the stage. She said, “There are many artists that I love, and that I know you love, that have hundreds of millions of followers and they’re saying nothing in this moment.”

Fellow actor **Florence Pugh** also shared powerful words on stage: “Silence in the face of such suffering is not neutrality. It is complicity.”
