*Beverly Hills 90210* star **Tori Spelling** has shared a sweet throwback from her 18th birthday and an even sweeter story about fellow cast mate and friend **Luke Perry** to go with it.

The photo, posted on Tori's Instagram, shows her blowing out the candles on her cake while Luke stands behind her.

"Not every 18 year old girl has Luke Perry holding their hair back as they blow out their birthday candles," Tori captions the pic.

"This picture embodies the kindness, love and friendship of my beloved friend Luke. He made this young 18 year old girl, struggling with confidence issues feel like a Princess on her birthday. An evening I'll never forget," she continues.

"Btw, anyone that had the privilege of knowing Luke knows he made everyone feel special. He was just that amazing human. One we lost too soon."
