# World Sends Love to Shannen Doherty After Revealing Stage 4 Breast Cancer

Fans all over the world are sending **Shannen Doherty** their love after the actress revealed that she's battling breast cancer once again.

The Beverly Hills 90210 star made the announcement during an interview with *Good Morning America* on Tuesday. She had been in remission after an earlier diagnosis in 2015 and is now fighting stage 4 cancer:

Shannen says she's been quietly dealing with the devastating news while mourning the death of her Beverly Hills co-star and friend **Luke Perry** and filming the show's reboot "BH90210" with fellow cast members **Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling** and **Jason Priestley.** 

"It was so weird for me to be diagnosed and then somebody who was seemingly healthy to go first," she tells *Good Morning America.*

"It was really shocking and the least I could do to honour him was do that show. I still haven't done enough in my opinion."

**Shannen** had been in remission after an earlier diagnosis of breast cancer in 2015.

Shannen's announcement comes on February 4, **World Cancer Day** \- to encourage discussion and raise awareness about cancer, and to encourage its prevention, detection and treatment.
