Retired tennis champion Ash Barty has announced she's expecting a baby with husband, golfer Gary Kissick!
She revealed the sweet news in an Instagram post to her 513,000 followers this evening, showing a pair of itty bitty baby shoes next to her pet Border Collie, Origi.
"2023 set to be the best year yet," she captioned the adorable photo.
"We are so excited for our new adventure. Origi already the protective big sister."
Ash and Gary tied the knot in July last year, just a few months after the tennis star announced her retirement.
She has since written a number of children's books about sport and friendship. At the time, she shared that supporting kids’ education is something she’s very passionate about: “If I can help encourage new readers that will make me very happy.”
