They say 80 percent of women have stretch marks...but it often feels closer to zero percent because we so rarely see women with stretch marks in the media.
But Ashley Graham is changing the narrative.
The supermodel, who welcomed baby Isaac with husband Justin Ervin last month, is embracing her post-pregnancy body, sharing a photo for her 10.4 million Instagram followers in the hope that we might embrace our own bodies too.
And yep, it's as glorious as you can possibly imagine.
The image is of Ashley's stomach with multiple purple marks below her belly button.
"Same me. few new stories," she captioned the photo which has received thousands of supportive comments online.
Earlier this week, the supermodel shared a photo of herself breastfeeding her baby in public:
And last week, Ashley posted a photo of herself wearing disposable underwear to shed light on "the recovery and healing" new mothers go through.
"It's not all rainbows and butterflies!" she writes. "It's unbelievable the obstacles we still face talking about what women really go through."
