According to nonprofit Feeding America, the famous couple made a generous donation to provide hunger relief in the region:

"We thank Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for donating $1 million to our disaster relief fund for Hurricanes Helene and Milton," a message from CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontinot reads. "Their longtime support of Feeding America in times of crisis has helped our network on the ground before, during and after disasters. These funds will help good banks provide basic needs like water, ready to eat food and supplies to communities facing heartbreaking loss and a long recovery."

In addition to Blake, Ryan and Taylor, Dolly Parton has also pledged to donate $1 million to relief funds:

“This is my home,” Dolly said at a press conference in Newport, Tennessee. “God has been good to me and so has the public, and I feel that if there’s anything I can do to give back in any way I can I’m always willing to do that. I want to feel like I’m doing my part.”

Metallica has announced two $50,000 donations each to World Central Kitchen and Team Rubicon who are supporting impacted residents.

“Over the past week, Hurricane Helene has left a 500-mile path of destruction throughout Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee in its wake,” the band wrote on X.

“It is an unmitigated tragedy, with over 215 lives lost and hundreds of people still unaccounted for. Historic water levels and widespread flooding across the Appalachians have left hundreds of roads inaccessible, hindering rescue efforts.”

Singers and North Carolina natives Luke Combs and Eric Church are also pledging to contribute undisclosed amounts.
