After stepping away from the world of acting 8 years ago, Cameron Diaz is officially making a comeback!
She will star in the upcoming Netflix film, aptly called Back in Action, with Jamie Foxx who announced the wonderful news on social media:
"@CameronDiaz and I are BACK IN ACTION - our new movie with @NetflixFilm. Production starting later this year!!"

Jamie also called in a little help from NFL legend Tom Brady, who famously retired earlier this year, then un-retired weeks later.
"Cameron, I hope you aren't mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. Had to call in the GOAT to bring back another GOAT," Jamie wrote, sharing a clip of a conversation between the three of them.
"I feel excited but, I don't know how to do this, ya know?" Cameron can be heard saying in the clip before Tom hilariously enters the conversation.
"I was talking to Jamie and he said you need a few tips on how to un-retire. I'm relatively successful at un-retiring," Tom jokes.
"Hahaha. Honestly, exactly what I needed," Cameron laughs.
AdvertisementLast year, Cameron had said she was in no rush to return to acting - she'd been busy working on her Avaline Wines company and being mum to 2-year-old daughter Raddix.
"Will I ever make a movie again? I'm not looking to, but will I?" she said while appearing on US radio show Quarantined with Bruce.
"I don't know. I have no idea. Maybe. Never say never."
No word on when the new Netflix film will be out, but we're excited!
