Camila Cabello & Shawn Mendes Announce They've Split But Continue to Be Best Friends

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have announced they're no longer together.

In a statement shared to both of their Instagram stories, they write:

"Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever."

They add, "We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."

Camila and Shawn have known each other since 2014 and began dating in 2019, shortly after the music video for "Señorita" dropped.

They had been living with Camila's family in Miami during the pandemic lockdowns and in late 2020, bought a dog together named Tarzan.
