Dax has released his powerful new song "Black Lives Matter" about racial injustice and the need for change - and he's donating the proceeds to help fight police brutality.

The Nigerian-Canadian artist begins the song with the words "I can't breathe" and later, goes on to mention the families of George Floyd and the many others who have been "destroyed by" police brutality.

He calls on the "good cops" to stand up to racism and encourages everyone to do their bit: "don't you dare stay silent."

Throughout the clip, we see footage of Black Lives Matter protests and news clips from around the world.

In a message posted to social media, Dax confirms that the proceeds are going to Campaign Zero, an organisation working to end police brutality in America.

The Campaign is all about analysing current policing practices and calling on local, state and federal lawmakers to take immediate action to adopt data-driven policy solutions including better training initiatives, limiting the use of force and requiring body cams on officers.
