This week marks one year since Gigi Hadid travelled to the largest refugee camp in the world - Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh. The model and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador met with some of the one million Rohingyas who've fled Myanmar and today, she's using her star power to remind us all that the crisis continues.

"This may be out of the media, but they are still there," she writes in an Insta post accompanying a series of photos and videos from her 2018 visit to Jamtoli camp. "They have just suffered one of the worst-ever monsoon seasons, which is devastating to non-permanent camps like this."

According to UNICEF, hundreds of shelters have been destroyed in landslides and flooding. Five of the organisations child-learning centres have been badly damaged meaning thousands of kids in the camps are missing out on schooling. Health and sanitation are major problems. And the storms are not over yet.

"If you can give at this time or even spread awareness," she pleads to her 49.2 million followers, "I promise @unicefusa, @unicefbangladesh will put it to good use, from education to sanitation to social work + so much more."
