So Gwen Stefani was kidnapped this week! Yes, kidnapped, friends.

But don't worry, it was for her surprise bridal shower!

The No Doubt singer who is due to marry fiancé and fellow musician Blake Shelton was treated to an intimate party with her close friends and family at a restaurant.

In a post on her Instagram story, Gwen shared a video from the event saying, "I got kidnapped by my family to celebrate...I'm getting married!"

Were there penis straws and strippers? We'll never know, but Gwen did share some snaps of the gifts she was given including some stunning pink flowers and card that was addressed "to the Bride to Be."

"Feeling loved, feeling blessed," she wrote on one of her stories.
