Hugh Jackman Remembers Legendary Brazilian Voice Actor Isaac Bardavid

Hugh Jackman is remembering Brazilian voice actor Isaac Bardavid who has passed away.

Isaac, considered a legend of the industry, provided the Portuguese voiceover for Hugh's Wolverine character in the X-Men movies as well dozens of other iconic characters including Freddy Kreuger in A Nightmare on Elm Street and Dr. Eggman in Sonic the Hedgehog. 

On Instagram, Hugh shared a clip of the two of them from 2017, captioning it: "Isaac Bardavid. What a legend. What a life and legacy. What a voice!!"

He added the hashtags #Wolverine, #Brazil, and #logan and ended his message with "Rest well my friend."

In the short video, we hear Hugh saying, "don't be what they made you," which is one of Wolverine's most famous lines. Isaac repeats the line in Portuguese, to which Hugh responds, "so good!"

Isaac was 91.
