Jane Fonda has lead a climate protest in Washington D.C for the sixth week in a row with more of her celebrity friends getting in on the action too.
This week, the Hollywood icon was joined by her 'Grace and Frankie' daughters Brooklyn Decker and June Diane Raphael at the Fire Drill Fridays event as well as some of the show's writers, 'CSI' actress Marg Helgenberger and author Robert Kennedy Jr.
They all took part in a rally on the Capitol lawn while raising awareness about the impact of the climate crisis on marginalised groups and the importance of a 'Green New Deal' - a proposal by Representative Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.
About 70 people were arrested after taking part in a sit-in at a senate office building including Kennedy, Helgenberger and Raphael.
Unlike the first 4 weeks, Fonda did not get arrested this time.
"I have been advised that, because I've had 4 arrests in a short period of time and I have a court date coming up mid-November concerning those arrests, if I get arrested again before then, I risk 90 days in jail," she explains in a blog post.
"The purpose of the Fire Drill Fridays is not to get arrested," Fonda continues. "The reason we are doing this is because we want to join with the student climate strikers and Greta Thunberg to raise awareness of the seriousness and urgency of the emergency and urge people to take action, including civil disobedience."
Brooklyn Decker also avoided arrest but she did manage to film her onscreen sister June Diane Raphael being taken away by police:
In previous weeks, actors Ted Danson, Sam Waterston and Rosanna Arquette have also been arrested.
