Lindsay Lohan has scored a new role!
The actress will portray a young woman named Maddie in Netflix rom-com Irish Wish. What's it all about? Well...
"When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland," an official synopsis from the streaming giant reads.
I know what you're thinking. Sounds a lot like My Best Friend's Wedding starring Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz, right? But no... Irish Wish is very different:

"Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realises that her real soulmate is someone else entirely."
This will be Lindsay's second project with the streaming giant. Her first, Falling for Christmas, is set for release in November. She'll portray an hotel heiress grappling with amnesia who falls for a lodge owner played by Chord Overstreet.
