Nobel laureate and girls' rights activist Malala Yousafzai has just dropped some beautiful news - she's tied the knot with Asser Malik!
In a message posted to her socials, accompanied by a series of stunning photos, she explains that her and Asser, who we understand is the General Manager of the Pakistan Cricket Board's High Performance Center, are now "partners in life."
"We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birgingham with our families," she explains, describing an Islamic ceremony.
"Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead."

Friends of the couple also shared photos of the special celebration online:
As did Malala's dad, Ziauddin Yousafzai who posted on Twitter that he and wife Toor Pekai "are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Alhamduliliah."
It's unclear how long Malala and Asser have known each other but he did wish her a happy 24th birthday on Twitter in July this year (and yes, that is a life-sized cardboard cutout of Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan):
Happy Birthday to the most amazing @Malala 🌟 @iamsrk had to make a necessary cameo of course. pic.twitter.com/kSFBgSqzVz

And there are a number of photos of them in a group, dating back to 2019:
