Miley Cyrus has revealed she and her team are all okay after a scary incident they experienced while flying to South America.
The superstar was on her way to Asunción in Paraguay when the plane was struck by lightning.
In a post on Instagram, she assured fans they were safe:
"To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lightning. My crew, band, friends and family who were all travelling with me are safe after an emergency landing. We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay."
She also shared a short clip of the lightning from inside the plane:
In a second slide (swipe above), she also shared a photo of the spot where the lightning had hit the plane.
Miley, who is currently on her "Attention Tour" in South America, shared a video specifically for her fans in Paraguay who have missed out on her performance due to the incident.
"You all made 'Stay' number one for me, so this is for you," she says before singing the song from her hotel bathtub. You can check it out below:
