Queen Elizabeth II Laid to Rest at The King George VI Memorial Chapel

Queen Elizabeth II is at her final resting place.

The Royal Family has confirmed that a private burial conducted by the Dean of Windsor has taken place following the state funeral which was streamed around the world overnight.

In a message posted on their official website, they write: “The Queen was buried together with The Duke of Edinburgh, at The King George VI Memorial Chapel.”

Her father, King George VI, her mother, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and her sister Princess Margaret are also buried there.
