The film, about the Barden Bellas acapella group, also starred Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Skylar Austin and Adam Devine.
"We made music with our mouths," Rebel's message continues.
"We made lifelong friendships, we hopefully made you laugh! Fat Amy was a dream role and will always have a special place in my heart."
Two sequels have been released since the original came out in 2012. And now fans can look forward to a six-episode series based on the films, titled Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, which will premiere on Peacock this November.
