Shawn Mendes has a new project in the works and it doesn't involve singing!

The Canadian superstar has teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger to help promote sustainability in fashion, not only serving as the face of the iconic brand for their global and more eco-friendly summer 2022 campaign but also co-designing his own limited edition clothing line.

"I'm super excited to announce my partnership with Tommy Hilfiger," Shawn says in a video on Instagram. "We both care so deeply about our planet and that's why our main goal is to reimagine the way we wear and we make our clothing."

It's all part of their "Play It Forward" partnership which will include Hilfiger designing sustainable outfits for Shawn's upcoming Wonder: The World Tour, as well as a $1 million donation from the brand to offset the tour's environmental impact.

"Shawn's not only a multi talented musician - he also represents a new generation of Future Makers who understand the need for action," Tommy Hilfiger said in a press release.

"By joining forces with Shawn to learn, share and innovate, we can build upon what we've already achieved and take our sustainability journey to the next level."

Shawn, who wore Hilfiger to the recent Met Gala, says he's "looking forward to learning from each other, exploring how creative re-imagination can have a positive effect on the fashion industry, and sharing what living more sustainably means to me."

The new campaign drops on May 16, but here's a sneak peek Hilfiger shared on socials, shot by Craig McDean. Yeah, try not to drool too much?
