Shay Mitchell is reminding us all just how precious time with our loved ones is...
The Pretty Little Liars actress recently lost her grandmother, who she describes in a heartfelt Instagram post as her "best friend."
"From the imaginary games she would play with me when I was little to picking me up from high school because I was being bullied, to keeping scrapbooks of every article and magazine cover I have ever been in, she was my #1 cheerleader," Shay writes.
"My heart is broken."

Shay, who often shares pics and stories of "Gram" with her 32 million followers, explains how grateful she feels to have known her for over 34 years. She's also thankful that her daughter, Atlas, was able to develop a relationship with her great-grandma.
Sharing a series of photos and hilarious videos of Gram, including one of her dancing while wearing a T-shirt with a bikini body printed on it, Shay reminds us all to reach out to our own grandparents.
"If you're so lucky to still have your grandparents around, do me a favour and call them just to say hi, because you never know when it will be the last time."
