Joseph Quinn and Metallica have finally met!

The Stranger Things star, whose character Eddie Munson performed an epic rendition of the band's "Master of Puppets" in the show's season 4 finale, jammed with the heavy metal band backstage at Lollapalooza in Chicago.

In a video shared by Metallica, Joseph sits down with the group for a chat and learns James Hetfield is a big fan of the show. He's then asked if he wants to jam and does it so well, Kirk Hammett tells Joseph, "You're hired!"

"I'd like to make an announcement," Lars Ulrich adds. "Metallica is now a five-piece, guys!"

And the fun didn't end there. The group gifted Joseph a custom B.C. Rich guitar, just like the one he played on Stranger Things. They hilariously also decided to "f*** it up" by signing their names on the guitar.
