Shameless star Emmy Rossum has announced she's given birth to a baby girl - and don't worry, none of us knew she was pregnant either!

The actress took to Instagram to share her wonderful news, captioning a series of stunning black and white maternity photos:

"5.24.21. On a sunny Monday morning, at 8.13AM, we welcomed our daughter into the world."

Emmy and her producer husband, Sam Esmail, managed to keep the entire pregnancy quiet, which, let's face it, is super difficult when the media are involved in your life. So, you know, respect! (Mindy Kaling also managed to keep her last pregnancy a secret too. How do they do it?)

Emmy also shared another black and white pregnancy photo of her standing on a window sill, highlighting her pregnant silhouette. She captions it, "Two weeks before our daughter was born."

No further details have been released about baby's name.
