Missed the Logies? We've got you! From history-making moments, to emotional tributes and snakes (yes, snakes!), here are all the best bits from the 2026 awards:

Deborah Mailman, Hall of Fame Inductee

Deborah Mailman made history after becoming the first Indigenous person to be inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame. Accepting the award, Deborah said, "I am overwhelmed with pride to be the first Aboriginal person to receive this honour."

She dedicated it to her mum and dad: "My parents met my dream with nothing but love and encouragement... This is for them."

Deborah is only the sixth woman to be inducted into the Hall of Fame since it began over 40 years ago.

Sam Pang wins Gold Logie

Comedian and TV host Sam Pang is now only the second person of colour to win the coveted Gold Logie. (In case you're wondering, Waleed Aly was the first.)

Taking to the stage, Sam delivered a humorous speech but he also had us tearing up as he made diverse Australia proud: "(When) you're watching television in this country, you never think that you're going to be on it... I'm ver, very lucjy and very, very grateful to be a part of it."

Sam Neil Posthumously Wins Silver Logie

The late, great Sam Neill won Best Actor in a Drama for his portrayal of character Brett Colby in The Twelve: Cape Rock Killer.

His friend and colleage, Heather Mitchell, accepted the award on his behalf, brining us all to tears when she opened her speech with the words, "I'm so sorry I'm not Sam."

Magda Szubanski Returns to Spotlight

National treasure Magda Szubanski took to the Logies stage as her Kath and Kim character Sharon Strzelecki, marking her first public appearance since announcing in February that she was in remission for stage 4 blood cancer.

Magda received a standing ovation as she walked out, wearing some Australia Zoo khakis and pretending to be their newest employee.

"I'm not crying," she said. "I've just got something in my eye."

Andrew Denton's Life Advice

Beloved TV host Andrew Denton was also inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame, and during his speech he dropped some great life advice like "get ready to fail", "back yourself" and "don't be afraid to praise someone else, even if they're your rival. Get their contact and text them or give them a call."

Robert Irwin Being... Robert Irwin!

In true Irwin-style, Robert hosted the evening by putting conservation in the spotlight. He swapped his tux from some khakis and brought out a number of reptiles during the show.

At 22-years-old, he's now the youngest Logies host we've ever had - and he totally nailed it!
