Citadel: Diana, a spinoff of the hugely popular espionage saga starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci is on the way and we have the first trailer!
This time, the series will star Matilda De Angelis as lead character, Diana Cavalieri.
What is Citadel: Diana about?
The series is set in Milan in the year 2030. It picks up eight years after the destruction of global spy agency, Citadel, by the powerful enemy syndicate, Manticore. According to the official description from Prime Video, here's what we can expect:
"Diana Cavalieri, an undercover Citadel agent, is alone, trapped behind enemy lines as a mole in Manticore. When she finally sees a way out and the chance to disappear forever, the only wat to do so is trusting the most unexpected ally, Edo Zani, the heir of Manticore Italy and son of the head of the Italian organisation, Ettore Zani, who's vying for leadership against the other European families.

Who is cast in Citadel: Diana?
In addition to lead Matilda De Angelis, the series features an international cast including Lorenzo Cervasio, Maurizio Lombardi, Julia Piaton, Thekla Reuten, Giordana Faggiano, Daniele Paoloni, Bernhard Schütz and Filippo Nigro.
Citadel: Diana is directed by Arnaldo Catinari and developed by Arnaldo Catinari who is also the head writer.
When Will Citadel: Diana be released?
Prime Video has announced all six episodes of Citadel: Diana will be be released on October 10.

The first Citadel, released in 2023 became one of Prime Video's most watched series worldwide. Each series stars top local talent and is filmed within the region to reflect local culture too.
The new Italian series will be followed by India's series, Citadel: Honey Bunny starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. And season 2 of Citadel starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden is set to begin production this year.
