The Hollywood star, who famously portrayed Troy Bolton in the High School Musical films, recently stopped by the film's iconic East High.
He shared a photo of the moment on Instagram, wearing a black outfit and black baseball cap, his fist raised high (because... Wildcats for life, right?), captioning it "Don't you..Forget about me."
Bart Johnson who played Zac's dad and basketball coach in the trilogy, commented on the post: "Warms coaches ole heart to see this."

The Utah school featured in all three High School Musical films and just weeks earlier had another famous visitor - Zac's co-star, Vanessa Hudgens!
The actress, who portrayed Gabriella Montez, shared a clip on Instagram of her return to campus, set to the song "Breaking Free" from the 2006 movie.
She captioned it, quoting a line from the series:
"Do you remember in kindergarten how you'd meet a kid and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you're playing like you're best friends because you didn't have to be anything but yourself?"
